The Cultural Committee of the Departmentof  Doctrine and Preaching Islam  , in cooperation with Rawasi Club, organized a scientific course entitled "Introduction to the Study of Al-‘Aqeedah Al-Wasitiyyah", presented by  Dr. Dhari Al-Zahamel, and targeted female students of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies.

The course began by introducing the biography of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah,  reviewing the most prominent stations of his scientific  life, and drawing lessons from them. The course then dealt with the importance of scientific texts in faith, with a focus on the most prominent of these texts and their place in the doctrinal structure.

It also provided an overview of the explanations of the Wasitiyya faith, the interest of scholars in it through the ages, and its impact on spreading the correct faith. The course also dealt with the story of the debate of the Wasitiyya faith, in terms of its time and place, its causes and motives.

The course concluded with a full reading of the text of the Al-‘Aqeedah Al-Wasitiyyah clarifying its meanings and explaining the most prominent concepts contained therein, and then distributing certificates to the attendees in appreciation of their interest and active participation.
