The Acting Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Kuwait University, Professor Dr. Sayed Mohammed Al-Tabtabai, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs. Lina Mariana, as part of efforts to strengthen cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries.

During the visit, the Ambassador attended the defense of a PhD thesis by student Fina Eshamat Almawla , titled: "The Endowment of Forbidden and Suspicious Funds and Its Developments: A Comparative Jurisprudential Study," supervised by Professor Dr. Mohammed Khaled Mansour. The defense was held on November 25, 2024.

The discussion committee consisted of Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Badawi (Chairman), Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Hamoud Al-Mutairi (Examiner), and Dr. Abdul Latif Haji Al-Awadi (Examiner).

During the meeting, the Ambassador extended an invitation to Professor Dr. Sayed Mohammed Al-Tabtabai to visit the State Islamic University "Sharif  Hidayat Allah" in Jakarta, to further enhance cultural and academic cooperation between Kuwait and Indonesia.
