College of Sharia and Islamic Studies organized a lecture titled “Jurisprudence of Fasting” within the forum “And Ramadan Approaches.”

As part of the activities of the “And Ramadan Approaches” forum, the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies held a lecture entitled “Jurisprudence of Fasting,” delivered by the Acting Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Prof. Dr. Sayed Mohammed Al-Tabtabai, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, during the university break, in Room 407 at the College of Sharia building.

The lecture addressed a range of jurisprudential rulings related to the blessed month of Ramadan, highlighting the key matters a Muslim needs to know regarding fasting and night prayers. It also answered prominent contemporary questions related to the rulings of fasting.

The event was attended by students and faculty members in an interactive academic atmosphere, reflecting the College’s dedication to enhancing Islamic awareness and welcoming the holy month with knowledge and insight.
